You may have the bars that go from the backboard to the pole on backwards. See below, note the gap in the holes. The holes that are furthest distance apart go closest to the backboard. If you remove the bars and swap the direction, you will get the full 10 ft adjustment.
If you have accidently stuck your youth or adult basketball poles in the wrong order, we have made a video to show how to disconnect them.
If this does not work, or you are unable to do this. Please just give us a call, or email the below and we will send you out a new set.

Brief Steps:
- Hammer the steel re enforcing bars into the base of the hole so they come up to the correct height.
- Fill the hole with concrete to the appropriate level
- Push in the J Bolt steel rods mounted in the steel template and level
- Let the concrete set for 3 days
- Set up your system and put the base over the mounting rods and bolt down
Our factory has the highest quality control measures, however very rarely a base may be sent out with a small crack.
If your base is leaking, please lay down the system, as it may fall over resulting in serious personal injury or property damage.

If your backboard looks wonky, it is possible that the bolts on the back of the backboard are not aligned. Please see picture below. The bolts need to be the same distance from the top on both sides for the backboard to sit straight.
